Crying Chief

Advertising film for canned soup of the American brand Heinz in which a cook has to cry because he has heard that some people don't eat Heinz soup. He is comforted by his colleague who then praises the product.

Trivia

Heinz had quite a few puppet animations made at Joop Geesink's Dollywood in the fifties and sixties. Remarkable is the typical English humor and self-mockery that often returns in these movies. Besides condensed canned soup, Heinz also advertised their tomato ketchup with puppet animation.
